We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Live-in Property/Estate Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a farm estate in Bedford, NY. You will be responsible for managing the property, grounds, and staff, and ensuring the smooth running of the property. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities: 

• Create and maintain an annual budget for the property. 
• Overseeing household staff 
• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan for the property.
• Coordinate family events, gatherings, and guest visits, providing an exceptional level of service.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for ongoing maintenance, repairs, and special projects. 
• Negotiate contracts and manage agreements to ensure quality service and cost-effectiveness.
• Keep accurate records of ground maintenance and activities, including costs and materials.
• Maintain calendar for estate including schedules for owner, family, guests, and events.
• Maintain household manuals and inventories, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• First point of contact in case of property emergency and responsible for keeping owner and executive assistant informed of any related information.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in farm/estate management.
• This role requires a confident and capable individual who can effectively manage schedules and projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, very efficient / have great time management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and highly organized.
• Proficient in budgeting and financial management.
• Ability to anticipate issues and resolve them proactively with a high degree of professionalism.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Valid and clean driving record.

Schedule: Requires a 24/7 mindset and a flexible schedule.
