Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Manage information technology projects for software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Evaluate the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability, and design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensure business growth. Define systems strategy, lead and review system requirements development, design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions. Set engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, and coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data analytics, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce results that help businesses make better decisions. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients. Lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.
•50% Travel required nationally.
•Telecommuting permitted.
•Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.
Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
•Participating in all phases of Agile project delivery and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for the design, development, testing, and implementation of data-oriented analytical solutions for enterprise-level clients, and supervising teams focused on end-to-end software delivery;
•Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate functional and technical requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs, utilizing Business Process Modeling (BPM), context diagrams, Confluence, and Sharepoint;
•Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state systems, processes, and environments, utilizing fit-gap analysis and As-Is process analysis;
•Reconciling budgets and project objectives to estimate client's operational savings, controlling budget creeps, and managing costs, utilizing What-If analysis and financial planning methods;
•Tracking and reporting project and milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery, and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing Jira, Microsoft (MS) Project, and ServiceNow;
•Analyzing data design and client database structure, writing and reviewing complex queries, and conducting business data analysis to find valuable insights, using Oracle and SQL;
•Defining Integration Architecture for data exchange in JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) and XML, using Application Programming Interface (API), Web services, and messaging queues; and
•Designing sub-components of larger systems, integrating Java, .Net, Python, Cloud, Big Data, and Mainframe applications, and optimizing system structure to improve stability and performance.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
