This is a non-benefited 10-hr per diem position at Scripps Clinic in Rancho Bernardo. Hours are M-F 6:30am-5pm with 10 hour shifts.

The Surgical Tech will:

• ensure operating rooms are ready for surgery, including all case-specific supplies and equipment are sterile and ready for use.

• Monitor sterile field throughout procedure.

• Scrub for cases, anticipate the needs of the physician and operating team.

• Surgery cases; ENT, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Pain, GI and Podiatry

Required:

• One year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Basic computer skills.

• Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment.

• Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.

·        Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider required

Preferred:

·        CST

·        2+ years’ experience

Position Pay Range: $34.97-$50.69/hour
