Job Description
A Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to provide health room coverage, ensuring students receive appropriate medical care and support throughout the school day. This position offers the opportunity to deliver meaningful nursing services in educational environments.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Evaluate student health complaints and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
Administer medications and follow individualized healthcare plans under supervision.
Maintain accurate records of treatments and communications in accordance with privacy regulations.
Support wellness programs, health screenings, and safety practices within the school.
Travel between schools within the district and adapt to varied classroom and student health needs.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
Valid Pennsylvania LPN license.
Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred.
Proficiency in medication administration, record-keeping, and emergency response.
Clear communication, compassion, and sound judgment essential.
Must complete Pennsylvania background clearances and fingerprinting.
Dependable and adaptable to changing assignments.
