Location - Oregon, US. Pay: Circa $40-$60p/h

Job Responsibilities

We're always open to considering great School Speech Language Pathologist Assistants to join our team. In this role, you'll be assisting Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in implementing treatment plans, providing direct therapy, and assisting with various tasks related to assessment, record keeping, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Therapy: Implementing treatment plans designed by the SLP, providing individual or group therapy sessions, and using various techniques to improve communication skills.
• Assessment Assistance: Helping the SLP with screenings, formal evaluations, and informal assessments.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of client progress, documenting performance, and preparing reports as directed by the SLP.
• Materials Preparation: Preparing and organizing therapy materials, equipment, and instructional aids.
• Administrative Tasks: Scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, greeting clients, and assisting with office organization.
• Training and Technical Assistance: Providing training to clients, families, and other staff on the use of augmentative and alternative communication devices.
• Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and school staff to provide comprehensive care.
