Job Summary
Out-of-the-Box Therapies, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team and provide school-based support to students with diverse communication needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLPA who is passionate about helping children thrive in educational settings and enjoys working collaboratively with a supervising SLP.

Duties

  • Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals using evidence-based strategies.
  • Collect and document session data accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with preparation of materials and supports needed for therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and the supervising SLP to promote communication success within the school environment.
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold ethical standards of practice at all times.

Qualifications

  • Current Colorado SLPA license (or eligibility upon hire).
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently while following direction from supervising SLP.
  • Commitment to a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based approach.
