Sr. Software Engineer

Location

Chesterfield, MO (up to 3 weeks per month telecommuting from a home office within reasonable commuting distance).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, test, troubleshoot, debug & support software systems and applications.
• Gather & understand requirements.
• Translate requirements into application features.
• Develop application technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities to develop new or improved solutions.
• Provide guidance for technical design & architecture decisions.
• Participate in shaping product development strategy.
• Contribute to evaluation & selection of new technologies.
• Work with team to coordinate project priorities & deadlines.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT?related positions developing multi?page web applications, performing Cloud?based continuous delivery environment management using AWS, designing & developing microservice architecture, developing large?scale distributed systems, ensuring software security, processing & analyzing large, complex data sets, designing Cloud?based software solutions using React, Node.JS, Python, Java, and/or JavaScript, supporting software product development (research, design, programming, and/or testing), using database management tools to store & retrieve data, and designing & developing application user interfaces.
• Alternatively, a Bachelors degree in said fields with at least 5 years of progressive post?Bachelors experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $141,000.00 to $155,000.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
