Responsibilities: Be part of the mainframe migration process by working with legacy applications while preparing for the future state by learning new tools and technologies through upskilling Work on projects from initial kickoff to production deployment and identifying potential technical risks Execute the creation of designs and development efforts within Agile Identify opportunities to modernize technology and streamline processes to enhance performance and reduce risk Establish a working relationship and facilitate on-going dialog with technical leads, team members and managers Study and invest time in learning new and emerging trends and technologies Develop an understanding of the insurance industry and products Experience: 2 years' enterprise engineering experience Experience with SQL and ETL Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Experience working in an Agile environment Experience resolving issues independently and communication findings to senior leadership and business stakeholders BONUS: Knowledge of a mainframe technologies; Assembler, CICS, PL1, COBOL, IDMS, DB2, VSAM BONUS: Experience with OpenText Exstream and/or IBM DataStage
