We currently have an opportunity for a
Remote SharePoint / PowerApps Designer Advanced to support a SharePoint migration to an Office 365 / online / cloud environment.
While this is a remote position, candidates must be willing to travel to either Dayton, OH or other location specified by the Government 2x per year (travel expenses will be covered), to attend special team meetings, training, Gov’t demonstrations, etc. ****THIS POSITION REQUIRES U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND THE ABILITY TO PASS A GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND CHECK AND HOLD A FAVORABLE NAC (GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND CHECK) - CANDIDATES NOT MEETING THESE REQUIREMENTS CANNOT BE CONSIDERED**** Primary Job Duties: - Build custom pages/views using OOB SharePoint.
- Build custom apps/pages/views/processes using Power Apps/Power Automate.
- Ability to take current functionality in QuickApps and Nintex Workflows and refactor to OOB SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Manage user groups and permissions.
- Perform help desk functions for field and HQ level clients.
- Perform mass data updates/moves on SharePoint lists/data records.
- Review, document, and support new Air Force requirements.
- Ability to research, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems.
- Ability to train others, perform presentations/demos, update documentation, and have excellent communication skills.
- Support team members in testing process.
- Record activities in Weekly Activity Report.
Secondary Job Duties: - Experience with SharePoint Environments (2013-2019 or SharePoint Online).
- Manage and maintain InfoPath forms.
- Creating SharePoint pages.
- Creating Lists/Document Libraries in SharePoint.
- Creating/Maintaining SharePoint sites.
- Knowledgeable in web design concepts, UI/UX.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON.
- Creating interactive web pages.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel).
Nice to Haves / Pluses: - Experience in requirements gathering and refinement.
- Experience in collaborating with team members and designing in a group environment.
- Knowledgeable in testing applications, experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment.
- Experience with AgreeYa Quick Apps, Nintex Workflows, and creating SharePoint workflows.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, along with good presentation skills.
- Ability to work with both a team and independently.
Position Requirements: - 5+ years’ experience with SharePoint, including PowerApps, and developing software and/or low-code development, along with 1 year experience with MS Power Platform.
- Associates degree or higher preferred, may be substituted with more experience.
- Must be able to pass a Tier 1 background check and hold a favorable NAC (Government background check).
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
