Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale infrastructure for advanced AI-powered products. This is a greenfield opportunity to architect secure, scalable systems from the ground up and support the deployment of large language model applications in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure for AI-driven B2B applications.
• Manage Kubernetes-heavy deployments, including multi-tenant and isolated container environments, databases, and VPCs.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and alerting frameworks.
• Lead incident response efforts and drive system reliability improvements with metrics-driven insights.
• Aggregate and visualize logs, metrics, and performance data to enable rapid iteration.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Pulumi, Terraform, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to enable deployment at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer (flexible for exceptional candidates).
• Proven track record building and scaling infrastructure in startup environments.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or similar).
• Strong coding skills (JavaScript preferred).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to own systems end-to-end.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco, 5 days a week.

Preferred

• Experience with B2B SaaS or contract-heavy workflows.
• Familiarity with LLM infrastructure or AI/ML deployment.
