JT's Urban Italian is currently hiring for a full-time Restaurant Manager - Bar Manager to oversee the productivity and profitability of our food service and bar establishment in the Buffalo, NY area. Our restaurant is a creative hub located in an excellent city with some of the best food and drinks in the area, and we're looking for someone that can match our vivacious vibes. This general restaurant management position at our modern Italian restaurant earns a competitive salary of up to $100,000 per year , depending on experience and qualifications.

DAY-TO-DAY
In this general restaurant management position, you play an essential leadership role as you oversee the operation and growth of our establishment. Alongside the Executive Chef, you recruit and hire qualified culinary staff who contribute to your positive work environment and are an asset to your team. You also engage in training staff as they develop expertise in the food service industry, and you establish clear expectations and standards of quality. Not only does the Executive Chef help with recruiting and hiring, but they also assist with the development of the perfect menu. You and your culinary staff are tasked to create delicious meals from scratch and with only the highest quality ingredients. Being service-driven, you aim to serve the best, most mouthwatering Italian dishes around. In a restaurant that offers weekend brunch, dinner service, and a full bar, you keep a careful eye on how the various elements operate as a whole. Whenever issues arise, you utilize your excellent interpersonal and communication skills to quickly resolve them.
Collaborating with our business owners, you implement budgets, goals, and objectives. Responsible and detail-oriented, you take accountability for the productivity and profitability of your food service location. At the end of each day, you complete any necessary paperwork to ensure the business continues to run smoothly.
