*Job Overview:*

We are seeking a highly skilled *Charge Registered Nurse (RN)* for a *Med Surg & Rehab* position in *Lawton, OK*. As a *Charge RN*, you will be responsible for coordinating total nursing care for patients, providing leadership, and collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient team members to maintain high standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. This position offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where you can make a significant impact on patient care.

*Responsibilities:*
* May be asked to work as a backup *Charge Nurse* when needed.
* Coordinate total nursing care for patients in the Med Surg & Rehab units.
* Participate in patient and family education to support ongoing care and recovery.
* Provide leadership by working cooperatively with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals.
* Maintain and uphold professional nursing standards in the clinical setting.
* Float between *Acute Rehab* and *Med Surg* units as required.
* Work within an *EMR system (Cerner)* for documenting patient information.

*Requirements:*
* *2 years of recent Med Surg & Rehab experience* is required.
* *Charge RN experience* is required.
* *Previous travel nurse experience* (at least 3 months) is required.
* BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is preferred.
* Traveler candidates must *have their own vehicle* as this is a *small community without public transportation* (firm requirement).
* Must be willing to work in a *Med Surg setting* (this is NOT a block scheduling position).
* Must be adaptable and flexible to float between *Acute Rehab* and *Med Surg* units.

*Certification Requirements*
* ACLS (AHA)
* BLS (AHA)

*State License Requirements*
* Vermont
* Compact Allowed

*RN01*

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $73.00 - $78.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
