The Production Associate is in charge of day to day sign manufacturing ranging from creating monument signs to making, weeding and applying vinyl. Signarama is a one stop shop for all sign needs so your day will always be new with lots of different projects in the pipeline. Compensation is commensurate with experience. It also includes, base pay, benefits and performance bonuses / incentives.

Responsibilities

• Design and create all types of signs- vinyl, digital, and various outside service products or components.
• Mask, weed and apply vinyl to substrates
• Must be able to use an X-Acto knife, type measure, ruler, and production tools efficiently.
• Properly load and operate a hot/cold pressure laminator following standard safety precautions.
• Load and cut vinyl on a plotter.
• Output digital print graphics.
• Operate a vertical panel saw using standard safety procedures.
• Operate a board trimmer, print trimmer, or other finishing equipment.
• Maintain machinery in good working order.
• Greet customers and answer phones professionally and knowledgeably.
• Travel to different locations within the community to preview work areas, give estimates, and install various types of signs.
• Apply vehicle and window graphics.
• Keep a running inventory of all stock and supplies.
• Complete Signarama in-store training utilizing the following: Signarama Front Counter Sales video, Signarama Sign Product Training video, Signarama Sign Production Techniques, Signarama CD "U", Signarama Key Lines audio and the Operations Manual
• Maintain an organized, clean, and professional store appearance at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Print Shop, printing services, or a similar experiences.
• Must be computer knowledgeable and willing to learn to be proficient in various software programs.
• Must also pass basic math and spelling tests.
• Physical Demand: Must be able to climb a ladder while lifting signs.
• Physical Demand: Must be able to place onto and retrieve various types of substrates from a substrate rack including the upper shelves.
• Physical Demand: Must be in good physical condition and be able to lift over 80 lbs.
