Kilgore College is looking for energetic Fitness Center Team Members to be the front line of an exceptional member experience with a focus on building relationships with members and guests. The College is investing in the Parks Fitness Center to improve services available to students and the community, with the ultimate goal of making the Parks Fitness Center a top-level fitness facility that is welcoming to all.
The Fitness Center Team Member will provide exceptional member service to students, members and guests. This includes guiding them on how to properly use and/or setup equipment; being friendly and courteous, signing up new members, data-entry, answering general inquiries in-person or over the phone, re-rack weights, equipment setup and housekeeping/cleaning duties, as assigned.
Customer service & handling phone calls experience Ability to lift 50-80 pounds several times during a shift Strong problem-solving skills Point of Sale and cash handling skills CPR/AED/First Aid certified Excellent customer service skills are required Preference may be given to candidates with: Membership management Mechanically inclined Prior experience in the fitness industry
