Our client is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the IT Infrastructure department supporting various business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to technology, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Brookfield, WI - hybrid 

Pay Range: Competitive salary based on experience

What's the Job?

• Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
• Conduct network/site visits and prepare visit reports to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure disaster recovery solutions are operational and meet business needs.
• Deliver excellent customer service by resolving support requests promptly and effectively.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED; equivalent experience in IT Infrastructure delivery and/or support role.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure delivery, design, and support for on-premise infrastructure.
• Proven experience in protecting data, software, and hardware through network security measures.
• Experience with enterprise networking, including routing protocols, VLAN, and subnet management.
• Strong ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning.
