About the Role:

As an MBA Finance Intern at JSX, you will engage in key financial projects and operational decision support analyses, leveraging your advanced business education to contribute to our financial strategies. This full-time summer internship will run from May 18th through August 7th, offering the opportunity to work on strategic ad-hoc projects spanning finance, operations, and technology implementation. You’ll gain exposure to process automation, data analysis, and executive-level business insights while applying your advanced business education in a dynamic aviation environment.

A Day in the Life:

Your day will be dynamic and detail-driven, focused on supporting data-informed decision-making and operational excellence across the organization. Typical responsibilities include:

• Productivity Analysis: Dive into performance data to uncover trends, measure efficiency, and identify opportunities for operational improvements that drive measurable results.
• Financial Insights: Conduct detailed financial analysis and variance reporting to help leadership understand key business drivers and maintain fiscal discipline.
• Executive Presentations: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare clear, compelling presentations and reports for senior management, turning complex data into actionable insights.
• Project Decision Support: Provide analytical support for business cases, new market evaluations, and other strategic initiatives that shape the company’s growth.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Contribute to a variety of special projects as needed, bringing curiosity, precision, and problem-solving skills to every challenge.

Required Experience:

• Currently pursuing an MBA with a focus on Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field

Preferred Experience:

• Extra-curriculars and leadership experience
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Python, and CoPilot AI is preferred but not required.

Skill, Licenses, & Certifications:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Interest in the aviation industry and corporate finance
• Extra-curriculars and leadership experience is preferred

Pay & Perks:

Compensation is $20.00/hour. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation.
