Math & Reading Tutor Extraordinaire Wanted!

Job Duties:

• Ignite young minds in Kindergarten to Grade 8 with personalized, one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions.
• Craft tailored lesson plans to tackle each student's unique learning journey.
• Make math and reading come alive through interactive teaching and hands-on activities.
• Keep a close eye on progress and maintain open lines of communication with parents.
• Be the guiding light for homework and test prep.
• Sprinkle in creativity using a variety of resources - from textbooks to educational games.

Other Duties:

• In the absence of students, assist the team in answering phone calls, creating activities, filing, grading, organizing, and help the director as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma. A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience - preferred, but passion for teaching children is a must.
• Dive deep into math - strong knowledge and expertise are key.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a big plus.
• Weave complex concepts into clear, concise explanations with excellent communication skills.
• Embrace patience and adaptability to cater to each student's unique learning style.
• Juggle it all with strong organizational skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
