Summary :
The Marketing Brand Ambassador provides vital support to the Marketing Department by executing marketing and community initiatives, assisting with content creation for digital, social media, and content marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and advocacy.
This is a non-exempt, hourly role currently assigned to an existing Team Member. Direction will come from the Director of Marketing, Marketing Manager, and corporate management.
Essential Functions of the Job :
- Build authentic connections with guests, team members, and community members.
- Create and post organic content (e.g., food, beverages, events, and team) on Instagram and Facebook.
- Assist with special events and activations as needed.
- Engage local businesses, schools, and organizations with the brand’s menu and delivery services.
- Understand and effectively communicate our brand, products, and menu to potential guests.
- Use word-of-mouth marketing techniques to promote the brand.
- Assist with organizing and gathering content for marketing events.
- Suggest advertising ideas, campaign strategies, and creative ways to differentiate the brand.
- Participate in local store marketing outreach and grassroots marketing.
- Attend and actively contribute to weekly/monthly Marketing meetings.
- Provide feedback to the Marketing Department regarding guest preferences and requests.

- Prior experience in PR, marketing, or social media is preferred, but not required.
- Currently employed by AZ Breakfast Ventures.
Travel :
- Occasional travel to events and activations may be required.

Physical Demands & Work Environment :
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and repetitive hand and wrist motion. Lifting products and supplies up to 50 pounds is required.
- Work will take place in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy, and physically demanding environment that may involve exposure to hot or cold temperatures and hazardous equipment.
- Occasional travel may be required, with potential for overnight stays on short notice.
- Occasional off-site or online training may be required.

Supervisory responsibilities
Work environment
- Primary work environment is Indoors with possible outdoor work for routine cleaning; daily set up and breakdown of large patio area; temperatures range from 50F-90F with varying weather conditions.
- Noise level can be loud at times due to crowds, order taking and music.
Physical demands
- Lift and/or move up to approximately 30 pounds frequently.
- Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently.
- Climbing ladders – occasionally.
- Routine standing for duration of shift (up to 8 hours).
- Ability to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
Travel
Required education and experience
- High School diploma or GED.
- Generally, 1+ years retail or restaurant experience
- Demonstrated sales and service skills, strong interpersonal skills, verbal communication and listening skills. Ability to multi-task, basic math and cash handling experience.
- Must have an aptitude and enthusiasm to learn about all brands and products available to our guest.
