About the Role:

The Logistics Operator - Level 1 (Entry Level) plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient movement and management of non-durable goods within our manufacturing facility and distribution network. This position is responsible for coordinating daily logistics activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials to ensure timely delivery and inventory accuracy. The role requires close collaboration with production, warehouse, and transportation teams to maintain smooth operations and meet customer demands. As an entry-level position, it offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational logistics skills and gain hands-on experience in supply chain processes. Ultimately, the Logistics Operator contributes to optimizing operational efficiency and supporting the overall success of the manufacturing plant and main office in North Carolina.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts (certification preferred but not required).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role within manufacturing or distribution.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
• Forklift operator certification.
• Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute the receipt, storage, and shipment of non-durable goods in compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular cycle counts and updating the warehouse management system.
• Assist in scheduling and tracking transportation activities to ensure on-time delivery of materials and finished products.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to prioritize orders and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting process enhancements.

The required skills such as attention to detail and organizational ability are essential for accurately managing inventory and ensuring shipments are processed correctly. Basic knowledge of logistics principles helps the operator understand the flow of goods and prioritize tasks effectively.
