LanceSoft is seeking a local contract Outpatient Substance Use Counselor for a local contract job in Nashville, Tennessee.

Position: Substance Abuse Therapist / Licensed Therapist - LMSW (TN only)

Type: Full Time, On-site

Locations: Multiple locations in Tennessee (TN)

Purpose: Provide counseling services to maintain patient care within the Center, creating a safe and balanced environment for patients.

Key Duties:

• Work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and individual counseling.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Coordinate care with medical professionals.

Requirements:

• Education: Master of Social Work (LMSW - TN only).
• Experience: Experience with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Certifications: CPR and First Aid.

Physical and Emotional Demands:

• Sedentary and ambulant work with occasional physical exertion.
• Ability to communicate effectively and handle stressful situations.
• Risk of exposure to infections; follow "Universal Precautions."

Competencies:

• Accurate patient file maintenance.
• Comprehensive patient assessments.
• Clinical services and patient advocacy.
• Regular attendance and adherence to company standards.

Continuing Education: Participate in mandatory educational programs and maintain professional certifications.
