WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a reputable Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Reading, PA. This role offers a valuable opportunity to deliver high-quality surgical care in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 6:45AM - 2:45PM.
\n
• Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in the facility EMR in a timely manner.
\n
• Prepares the operating room for the patient/procedure and assists other staff with room breakdown.
\n
• Assists in patient positioning and ensures patient comfort and safety.
\n
• Provides accurate care and proper handling of specimens.
\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• 1 year of experience in a hospital OR or surgical center required.

\n

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

  \n
\n

• Current RN license for the state or willingness to obtain.

  \n
\n

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

  \n
\n

• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.

  \n
\n
