Job Description

First off -> We are not looking for outsourcing companies or recruitment agencies.

We are looking to hire a junior full-stack developer to join our team at Ravenna to produce engaging projects for our customers. Your time will be spent across the stack, sometimes more focused on the backend, other times writing or tweaking the frontend.

We are all passionate, highly motivated, and incredibly proud of what we do, and we are looking for another individual with similar attributes. We all work in separate locations, and travel is not required, but you have to be able to work independently and as a part of a team. Your communication skills are critical to your and our success.

We aim to be the best at what we do and need a junior backend developer who is hungry to learn.

The skills we are looking for

1. Fluent in spoken and written English.
2. Minimum of 6 months working experience with Laravel and 1-2 years of web dev experience.
3. Entry-level understanding of MySQL.
4. Entry-level understanding of how APIs work.
5. Experience with Git/Bitbucket.
6. Experience in working remotely / with a fully remote team.

Bonus points for experience with:

1. Managing your own time.
2. Npm.
3. Tailwindcss.

This is a fully remote-based role with active daily communication with the rest of the team. Contract role could lead to FTE. Based in Seattle, WA, and Pacific timezone. Salary range: Flexible depending on experience.
