Our client has an immediate opening for an experienced Architectural/Interior Designer in

Baltimore, MD, to be a part of a collaborative team that will advance the development of interior design solutions for our properties as well as third party projects. Looking for innovative, fast-paced, creative person that matches description below:

Job Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture or Design, or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture

 Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in Commercial Interior Design

 Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

 Strong technical skills: competency in application of local commercial building, life safety and

accessibility codes

 Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and interest to build and maintain client

relationships are essential

Job Responsibilities:

 Provide a depth of knowledge in the areas of space planning, block planning, conceptual and

schematic design, furniture layout and space requirements development.

 Work closely with in-house Leasing and Interior Construction Departments.

 Collaborate with client and in-house team to develop solutions for space utilization.

 Gather program requirements and translate into efficient, innovative, and functional space plans.

 Meet with client to evaluate needs, determine project requirements, produce plans from

conceptual block diagrams to approved final floor plan, select materials, lighting and develop

finish palettes.

 Produce Construction Drawings for pricing, permitting and construction to include: Millwork

Elevations/Sections, Interior Detailing, Reflected Ceiling, Power/Data, and Finish Plan and

Schedule.

 Review Shop Drawing submittals.

 Generate square footage calculations based on BOMA standards.

 May attend physical field site visits, progress meetings and inspections as needed.

 Assist with proposal development.
