Description As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to grain handling, agronomy operations, and general maintenance. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength and the ability to work in various weather conditions. This position will help the grain team in multiple locations including DeWitt, Donahue, and Eldridge.
What You'll Do: - Assist with grain handling operations, including loading and unloading trucks, operating grain elevators, and maintaining grain storage facilities.
- Support agronomy operations by assisting with fertilizer and chemical applications, crop scouting, and equipment maintenance.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, such as repairing equipment, cleaning work areas, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Operate machinery and equipment, such as tractors, forklifts, and other farm implements, following proper procedures and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance.
- Attend cooperative meetings and work to improve personal skills and knowledge.

What You'll bring: - High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in agriculture or a related field preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license
Working Conditions: May be exposed to dust, noise, heat, cold, ag chemicals, and vapors, and moving machinery.May be required to work long hours in season, as well as work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
