Openwork is assisting our downtown Austin client in their search for an Accountant for their Investment Accounting division. This temporary role will start as soon as a successful candidate is identified and is scheduled to last until December 31, 2024.

In this role, you'll:

• Assist with planning for the annual audit and preparation of the annual comprehensive review.
• Collect, track and review audited financial statements and compete checkpoints
• Prepare and and assist with technical and compliance changes for regulatory requirements.
• Prepare highly advanced (senior level) complex financial analysis under minimal supervision

Qualifications:

• 4 yr degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field (experience may substitute).
• 7yrs of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis or accounting including experience in an automated accounting system and financial reporting
• MBA or CPA will substitute for 2 years of the required experience

This is an ONSITE job in downtown Austin, 8 to 5 Monday through Friday.
