Overview The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform enables online Financial Accounting tutoring with flexible scheduling and competitive pay. Tutors work from home through the platform. Responsibilities Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring in Financial Accounting to students on the Varsity Tutors platform. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Explain concepts clearly and engage students with a friendly teaching style. Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions, save prep time, and focus on teaching. Invoice for sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments. What We Look For In a Tutor Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Financial Accounting and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Prior tutoring or teaching experience; graduate-level education preferred. Ways To Connect With Students 1-on-1 Online Tutoring – Provide personalized instruction to individual students. Instant Tutoring – Accept on-demand tutoring requests when you’re available. We do not contract with tutors in: Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, or Puerto Rico. Remote Work and Compensation Base rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week. You can set your own hours and work remotely on the Live Learning Platform.
