What You'll Do The Finance Manager will provide financial leadership to the company working as a key member of finance team. Specifically, this includes oversight of Financials of our company, including but not limited to, accounting treatment and financial reporting (closing and possibly forward looking) functions, addressing Financial Audits communicating with HQ relevant teams as well as compliance.
This role will give direction to, support and supervise subordinates who work for finance department and depending on situations, this role will involve and deal working level works tasks directly.
Role & Responsibilities
[Financial Closing]
On-time and accurate closing. (monthly, quarterly and annual)
Closing and report results on a monthly basis in a timely manner and in compliance with IFRS and corporate accounting guidelines.
Provide Consolidation & Footnotes packages to the holding company quarterly basis
Review, conduct and provide guides on company's general accounting treatments including but not limited to payroll, lease, inventory and tax accounting
[Financial Reporting and External Audits]
Effective management of financial reporting process.
Develop and manage all external financial reporting requirements to ensure accurate timing and full disclosure to lenders and to the holding company.
Ensure timely filing of all statutory returns throughout the organization.
Manage and assist CFO and Sr Manager in preparation of Internal and External Financial reports including FP&A and tax
[Compliance/Audit]
Respond appropriately to the external auditor of both the company and the holding company
Develop accounting policies and procedures as well as ensure compliance throughout the organization.
Establish and ensure that strong financial controls are in place and that all accounting conforms to company standards.
Effective compliance process development and management.
[Relationship Management]
Successful management of internal and external resources.
Manage the relationship with external auditors.
Lead accounting systems implementation and mangement
Serve as company's GAAP and IFRS expert in answering questions from operating locations; interpreting and applying new accounting principles; assisting with the accounting for special/complex transactions.
Leading GAAP and IFRS training sessions for the finance team on a worldwide basis.
Coordinate and communicate with other corporate functional areas (FA, Legal, Collection etc.)
Provide financial assistance to all functional areas when required.
Participate in the required due diligence of acquisitions and joint ventures.
[Staff Management]
Determine appropriate level of staffing and development as needed.
Successful appropriation of staff and development resources.

Requirements
What You'll Need to be Successful - BS in related field
- Certification such as AICPA, CTA, etc., or preparation experience
- 10 or more years' related accounting experience
- 2 years' experience managing a team
- Familiarity with SAP a plus
- Audit experience preferred
- Previous experience as Accounting/Tax Officer for a multibillion-dollar company preferred.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Previous experience in MNC (experience in Korean is preferred)
- Excellent personal integrity and business ethics with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Successful working in a dynamic environment
- Mentor Finance (FP&A, Accounting, TAX) staff
- Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, Tax, K-Sox or US Sox and PC Skills
- Strong management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
