Schedule: Live-out, Full-time, Monday to Friday 11 am 7 pm (40 hrs. a week)

Salary: $40/hr.

Location: Guilford, CT

Overview:

A family of three (Children 12,16) is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper for their home. The candidate must be experienced working in a nice home and be able to demonstrate skills in all aspects of common household upkeep, as well as light laundry and basic cooking. Additionally, the candidate should be warm, supportive, and inviting, especially with children.

Job Requirements:

• Daily light cleaning (has cleaning service) of bathrooms, dishes, and beds
• Laundry: a basic family
• Running errands including weekly grocery shopping and dry cleaners
• Light family cooking
• Dog care walk
• Picking up and lightly supporting two children, ages 12 and 16, who are quite independent

Additional Responsibilities:

• Occasionally staying overnight with the children for a couple of nights and up to a week once a year

Candidate Qualities:

• Professional, warm, capable, intuitive
• Clean appearance, organized and efficient
• Good communicator
• Generally, knows what to do, requires minimal direction, and is open to feedback
• Can adjust to and accommodate changing circumstances
• Proactive and able to anticipate needs

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience
• Excellent, stable work history and references
• Drivers license
• Vaccinated
• Good English fluency
