The primary responsibility of the Division Sales Coach is to train and coach a best in class New Home Sales Team that will result in maximum profit margins and consistent achievement of sales goals by each community.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
Act as training subject matter expert and point-of-contact for region, including providing direction and coordination of training activities.
Manage and conduct scheduled advanced sales training and coaching for all New Home Consultants (NHCs) upon hire.
Visit assigned Welcome Home Centers (WHCs) to assess coaching opportunities for individual associates, develop and implement those plans to maximize sales.
Design and facilitate quarterly Advanced and Refresher Training for all existing New Home Consultants.
Consult with IT Department to ensure execution of Systems Training to improve knowledge for new and existing associates.
Develop and conduct additional Remedial Training for all NHCs who fail to meet the Division’s minimum performance standards and/or goals.
Review all Mystery Shops for assigned area and set up individual coaching and skills improvement programs.
Analyze and identify performance gaps in underperforming communities to identify training needs of individual NHCs.
Regularly communicate with Director of Sales and Sales Managers to discuss skill sets of each New Home Consultant; primarily responsible for assessing behavior and skills of each NHC.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company, products and industry trends from continued training, education and self-learning.
Responsible for developing documentation for individual coaching objectives.
Create and manage tracking system to ensure transfer of learning goals and behaviors.
Associate is responsible for extensive daily travel within their assigned territory (regularly 5 days a week).
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s Degree from 4-year University preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of successful experience selling new homes.
Previous sales training program management or responsibility for development, delivery and measurement new home sales associates preferred.
National Homebuilder experience preferred.
Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required.
Must have strong written and organizational skills; detail oriented.
Team player with strong work ethic.
Computer literacy, including word-processing, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling and data management software.
Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
