Position Overview: Idemia is looking for a motivated Data Analyst Intern for the Fall of 2024 to join our dynamic team. You will support the identification, extraction, and integration of data from our manufacturing floor to conduct trend analysis, predictive analysis, dashboard creation, pipeline maintenance, application development, and documentation creation.

Duration: 10 weeks (September - November 2024)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
• Automate data workflows using Power Platform tools like Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Document processes and create user guides for developed solutions.
• Maintain and utilize local SQL data warehouse.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
• Evaluate and identify ways to improve data quality in ERP and MES systems.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Basic understanding of ETL and visualization concepts.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform is a plus.
• Proficient in writing, maintaining, and editing SQL queries.
• Basic understanding of database structure and relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
