Concrete Finishers Needed

We are currently accepting applications to fill immediate positions for Concrete Finishers. Candidates must have their own transportation, be willing to travel and be highly motivated. Essential Responsibilities:

• Performs any combination of the following duties on construction projects, usually working in a utility capacity and by transferring from one task to another.
• Activities include but are not limited to: Placing, finishing, protecting and repairing concrete
• Setting concrete forms to correct depth and pitch
• Spread concrete using shovels and rakes along with screed
• Smooth surface using hand trowel, long handed bull float or powered floats
• Press edger between forms and concrete
• Mix cement, using hoe or concrete mixing machine
• Break up old concrete surfaces using pneumatic tools
• Ability to work without close supervision once directed on task
• Obeys and follows all safety rules on the job site and encourages others to do the same
• Maintains a good relationship with co-workers and works well with others to accomplish a task

Physical demands of this position include lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally; 50-70 pounds frequently along with frequent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling. Must be able to work outdoors, at heights and travel as needed.
