Candidates should have strong research and teaching profiles in Italian American Studies, with the ability to contribute to undergraduate and graduate programs. The successful candidate's tenure home will be determined by their doctoral discipline, which may include English, History, Modern Languages and Literatures, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, or Theology. The Rubino Professorship includes funding to host an annual guest lecture, support student activities, and oversee student research, including summer projects through the Undergraduate Summer Research Experience (USRE) program.
