As a Class A CDL Shuttle Driver for US Foods in Cookeville, TN, you will be responsible for safely transporting various food products to and from dispatch sites while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The position requires a valid CDL Class A, at least 6 months of commercial driving experience, and the ability to operate in inclement weather conditions. Safely drive trucks to and from remote dispatch sites
May be called upon to perform duties of Backhaul or Delivery Driver
Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection

What You Bring to the Table
Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
6 months commercial driving experience required
Doubles endorsement required AND minimum 6 months driving with doubles endorsements preferred
Must be comfortable working overnight
Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $20 - $25 per hour.
