Position Overview Rutgers Cancer Institute invites applications for tenure‑track and non‑tenure‑track faculty positions in cancer research. Candidates will establish or support an innovative, independent, and collaborative research program addressing fundamental questions in cancer biology. Interdisciplinary and translational approaches are encouraged, with collaborations across Rutgers and Princeton. Responsibilities Develop and maintain an independent research program in cancer biology, including genomics, pharmacology, or precision medicine. Secure peer‑reviewed external funding and support grant programs for laboratory personnel. Teach medical students, residents, and graduate students; deliver targeted lectures in the area of expertise. Collaborate with consortium faculty and interdisciplinary teams across the Rutgers Cancer Institute and partner institutions. Qualifications PhD or MD, outstanding academic credentials, and a history or strong potential for grant funding. Rank commensurate with experience; new tenure‑track faculty expected to establish an independent program. Preferred experience in precision medicine, phase 1 development, or translational cancer research.
