We are seeking a Business Analyst for an ongoing multiyear project based in Madison, WI. The Business Analyst / Quality Assurance Tester will document business flows, analyze requirements, participate in design sessions, and serve as the primary quality control tester for web applications developed by the Family Support Enterprise Section (FSE) with the Department of Children and Families (DCF), State of Wisconsin. The QA Tester will create test scenarios, plans, reports, and track defect lifecycles. Proficiency with industry-standard automation testing suites and regression testing is required. The role involves testing multiple projects, leveraging skills to test complex IT systems, and providing excellent customer service by facilitating UAT testing with the customer. Must Have: Experience with project management methodologies, including 'agile' methods. Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Ability to query relational databases. Manage QA testing and support UAT. Develop and implement QA processes, test cases, and use cases. Experience in usability testing, requirements analysis, gathering, validation, and use case development. Ability to perform and facilitate application testing, document results, and help fix issues. Develop test plans and procedures, including regression testing and automation scripts. Nice to Have: Experience in project management administration. Change management skills. Participation in design reviews.
