We are looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Counselor with excellent communication skills, strong clinical judgment, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Job Requirements:

Education

• Master’s degree in a relevant behavioral health field, including but not limited to:
• • Clinical Psychology
  • Counseling Psychology
  • Social Work
  • Marriage and Family Therapy
  • School Counseling

Licensure

• Current, unrestricted license or certification from a U.S. state or territory authorizing independent practice in one of the following:

Psychology

Social Work

Marriage and Family Therapy

Professional Counseling

• Any State License Honored

Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years providing school-based counseling or therapy to children, adolescents, or adults
• Minimum of one (1) year providing crisis intervention services
• Experience working in a school-based setting required

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Assessment, advocacy, and care coordination abilities
• Crisis response and trauma-informed care practices
• Knowledge of:
• • Child and adolescent development
  • Family systems theory
  • Suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention
  • Multicultural and culturally responsive counseling practices
