We're seeking an experienced Business 2 Business Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the rapidly growing Electric Vehicle (EV) charger market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, and excellent communication skills. A passion for sustainable energy solutions would be a plus. The B2B Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base within the commercial, multi-unit residential, vehicle fleet, and auto dealership sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and market expansion. 
  • Identify and prioritize target markets in need of commercial EV chargers, and customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends.

Business Development:

  • Establish relationships with key decision-makers with commercial clients.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with Auto dealerships, Real estate developers, HOAs, and other clients in need of EV charging stations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting.

Sales Operations:

  • Manage sales pipeline and forecast revenue accurately.
  • Coordinate with our management team to develop additional marketing materials to ensure alignment with commercial EV charger product sales and installations.
  • Develop and implement sales processes and procedures.

Performance Metrics:

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue targets.
  • Achieve sales growth rates consistent with company objectives.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience as Sales Manager, Business Development or related sales field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales management, preferably in the energy, sustainability, or technology sectors.
  • Proven experience as a sales Manager or similar Sales and Marketing role with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Exceptional leadership and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools such as “sales force”.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.

Skills:

  • 1. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • 2. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • 3. Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives.
  • 4. Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • 5. Strong understanding of the EV industry and market trends would be a plus!

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with EV charging infrastructure or sustainable energy solutions.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary of $50,000 to $70,000 a year
  • Generous Commission structure that allows for uncapped earnings. 
  • Opportunity to become Director of Sales
  • Paid time off

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Personal client visits (As needed)

Ability to Commute within current market:

Houston, TX and suburbs (Required)
