Job Description

We are currently seeking an Art Director to support creative marketing and design efforts for our client. This temporary position involves overseeing creative tasks, managing design projects, and ensuring polished, on-brand deliverables. You will work closely with a small team, helping maintain the flow of daily operations while enhancing the creative output.

The ideal candidate will have strong art direction skills, experience managing creative projects, and the ability to deliver innovative designs independently.

Location: Edwardsville, IL 62025

Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm, 3–6 months to permanent placement

Start Date: ASAP (2-week notice acceptable)

Hours per Week: Full-Time, Hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days onsite)

Pay Rate: $43-45/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee creative projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand standards.
• Manage design tasks across digital, print, and social media platforms.
• Collaborate with the agency’s freelancers and creative team to produce high-quality assets.
• Support marketing efforts by filling gaps in creative strategy and campaign execution.
• Lead the development of polished presentations, video editing (minor animation), and WordPress content.
• Review and ensure all materials meet pre-press requirements and quality standards.
• Work within established brand guidelines to create innovative, error-free materials tailored to a corporate audience.

Core Requirements:

• 10 + years of experience in art direction,
• Must have CPGs experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress, with experience in pre-press processes.
• Proven ability to manage creative projects independently while meeting deadlines.
• Strong portfolio showcasing practical, innovative, and polished designs.
• Experience in the food industry is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
