Data input from transportation jobs and payroll for staff. Working with tenants and contractors on property management.

Summary

In the role of Bookkeeper/Office Manager, you will be integral to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth office operations. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will utilize your core skills in accounting and GAAP principles to manage the general ledger, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and oversee journal entries. Proficiency in QuickBooks will be essential for managing accounts payable and receivable. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to the overall efficiency of the office, making you a vital part of our team.

Qualifications

• Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial concepts
• Experience in double entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting
• Skilled in balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries
• Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
• Familiarity with financial report writing and payroll management
• Ability to perform bank and account reconciliations effectively

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records and performing journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheets to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Utilize QuickBooks for accounts payable and receivable management, ensuring timely processing of invoices.
