We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst or Document Analyst with an accounting background to join our team on a Contract-to-Permanent basis in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this Accounting Analyst role, you will play a vital part in managing financial data, analyzing financial documents, and ensuring accurate reporting. This Accounting Analyst position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and document management who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Enter financial data into QuickBooks with high accuracy and attention to detail.

• Perform credit card reconciliations and allocate expenses based on detailed analysis.

• Analyze brokerage accounts, tax returns, and financial statements to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Utilize Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables to manage and organize financial data.

• Prepare and complete financial templates using data extracted from QuickBooks.

• Manage client documents by scanning, organizing, and labeling them in shared office drives.

• Inventory and code client-submitted documents using Dropbox and Excel inventory sheets.

• Ensure proper categorization and storage of financial records to maintain efficient document management systems.

• At least 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial data entry and reporting.
• Strong Excel skills, including experience with VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and credit card transactions effectively.
• Experience with document management systems and tools like Dropbox.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data.
