Luki Lab is an innovative toy company created by passionate toy creators. Luki Lab, a division of Strottman, produces and markets an exciting collection of award-winning toys and games. We are looking for a very creative and talented 3D Animator with a primary focus on animation to join our small, dynamic team. As a 3D Animator, you will play a vital role helping create captivating animations for our toy brands, bringing fun and excitement to our products. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter who is talented, resourceful, and passionate about animation.

As a 3D Animator, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with the creative team to help ideate and produce engaging animations for our toy brands.
• Working with the Animation Director to create high-quality animated shots and sequences including every stage from still frames/block out to final animated, lit, & rendered sequences.
• Compositing rendered shots to enhance them with additional effects.
• 3D asset building tasks will be required such as modelling, texturing, staging, rigging, and lighting.
• Staying updated with industry trends and technologies to enhance animation quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting animation-related challenges and finding creative solutions.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• A proactive self-starter with a positive disposition is a must!
• A Passion for animation.
• At least 3 years’ experience, degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field
• Proven experience as a 3D Generalist with a strong focus on animation, demonstrated in your portfolio.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software, such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max. We use Blender, but training can be provided.
• Experienced with Adobe Suite software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere.
• A solid grasp of animation principles. Attention to detail and a passion for animation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• An effective communicator and a creative collaborator with a willingness to learn.
• 2D drawing and animation skills are a bonus but not required.
