About the Role

We are seeking a Web Front End Engineer to join a team that bridges platform engineering and experience development. This team builds reusable components and frameworks that streamline the work of experience teams, ensuring best practices, repeatable patterns, and consistency across platforms. You’ll collaborate with iOS, Android, and Web engineers to deliver solutions that maintain parity and performance across all environments. This is a contractor role designed to provide additional engineering capacity for high-impact projects.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

• Contribute to architecture and design decisions for scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Develop reusable components and frameworks that improve efficiency for experience teams.
• Collaborate with cross-platform engineers to ensure consistent functionality and performance.
• Apply best practices in debugging, optimization, and continuous delivery.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, producing high-quality code at a rapid velocity.

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong proficiency in React, CSS, TypeScript, React Testing Library, Cypress, Git, and RESTful web services.
• Excellent debugging, performance tuning, and optimization skills.
• Expertise in handling dynamic data using services such as JSON and REST APIs.
• Experience building highly scalable distributed systems.
• Knowledge of continuous delivery practices, including Test-Driven or Behavior-Driven Design, code review, static analysis, CI/CD, automation, and functional testing.
• Understanding of Core Web Vitals and factors influencing web application performance.

Preferred:

• Ability to plan, design, and implement large technical projects.
• Experience with large-scale e-commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with Config- or Server-Driven UI architecture.
• Experience with Kotlin is a plus.
