Dale Hollow RPO Coordinator Mark Dudney worked with Jenni Veal of the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development to produce an episode about the Cumberland National Scenic Byway in her podcast series, Traveling Embers . Mike McClanahan of TDOT’s Scenic Byway program helped to fund the episode, which highlights the rich history and beautiful natural resources along the eight-county route. Dudney recruited locals to participate in the podcast, including a college professor, a musician, and the curator of the Clay County courthouse.
