Position Summary
This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling resources/processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints related to large comprehensive turnarounds.
Essential Job Functions
§ Builds turnaround work packages, assists with scheduling between unit OMC and maintenance planners
§ Oversees contractors and subcontractors performing work during the project/turnaround
§ Plans tasks that prevent or mitigate exposure to unsafe turnaround work conditions
§ Develops, plans, and reports on turnaround metrics for safety, schedule, quality and cost
§ Works with all areas of the plant to develop the turnaround work scope, safety plans, and budget
§ Defines the critical path, costs for the turnaround, and reports progress
§ Works with client operations and maintenance groups during projects/turnarounds
§ Responsible for producing bill of materials (BOM) for each job required to be completed
§ Leads, facilitates and coordinates risk based strategic and tactical Turnaround work selection and planning meetings
§ Responsible for ensuring the project/turnaround schedule is followed and updated for work being performed
§ Interfaces with turnaround stakeholders according to Turnaround Work Management
§ Inputs work data for project/turnaround budget requirements
§ Participates in developing the turnaround planning tool
§ Responsible for logistics of rental equipment, material, and long lead items
§ Responsible for PSSR Walk downs and completing punch list items
§ Responsible for MOC P&ID Verification
§ Responsible for walking out red lined P&IDs to verify mechanical completion is as per red line
§ Monitors safety performance for contractors while coordinating projects
§ Leads daily tool box safety meetings with contractors prior to work; confirms precise understanding of job task and safety precautions
§ Monitors contractors for accurate updates to the schedule daily
§ Builds plot plans for employees/ contractors for better understanding of equipment location
§ Assists EHSS team with procedures as required
§ Identifies long lead items during planning process to ensure equipment delivery is in line with requirements
§ Abides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates commitment to and support of EHSS principles and values; champions safety at all times; participates in and/or leads safety teams or projects as appropriate
§ Performs other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally expected scope of this position

Experience & KSA’s Required
§ Strong background in piping and/or structural work scope planning required
§ Ability to estimate material and labor quantities from industrial construction drawings for multiple craft disciplines
§ Preferred experience in planning software applications
§ Knowledge of petrochemical SAP, Microsoft program experience is preferred.
§ Experience with preventive maintenance programs in industrial environment
§ Proven accuracy skills; knowledge of drafting preferred
§ Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, and other basic math processes
§ Proven skills in data collection and problem solving
§ Positive attitude; change agent; team oriented
§ Experience working in dynamic manufacturing environment
§ Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow through on assignments
§ Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; ability to use database systems and other programs and applications used by this position and at Company
§ Fluent in English language including reading, writing and speaking; ability to read and write at a minimum of high school level; ability to clearly communicate to all levels in organization
Education Requirement
§ BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related curriculum or at least Four (4) years of jobsite mechanical craft experience required
§ NCCER certification, craft journeyman, or foreman in industrial construction, maintenance or turnarounds preferred

This position requires an employee to be in an office environment, outside, and exposed to various chemicals and compounds, including fumes and smells, some of them hazardous. During construction, the employee will be required to work in a construction zone with various hazards normally experienced in these environments. The employee may enter confined spaces and work in elevated environments. Employee may experience range of temperatures from -10 degrees F to 100+ degrees F when outside. Employee must be able to wear PPE required by the location. General office noise may be experienced and louder sounds and vibrations when outside. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. All environments are safe with appropriate PPE.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee may be required to travel by air, rail, bus, car, or other modes of land transportation.
