Job Description

RWE Design Build is looking for an experienced TRAVELING SUPERINTENDENT to lead our construction projects located throughout the U.S. This position requires the candidate to lead construction efforts and monitor the progression of schedules with frequent onsite check-ins at our headquarters in the greater Chicago area.

• Become familiar with and understand plans, specifications, site, local codes, local officials and inspection procedure
• sCoordinate and maintain construction schedules to ensure projects are being completed according to drawings and spec
• sEnsures quality standards are being met throughout the projec
• tConduct meetings with subcontractor representatives of the project on a daily and/or weekly basis to schedule and coordinate construction activitie
• sEnsure materials are delivered to construction sites according to construction schedule
• sWork with owners, owner’s reps, architects and subcontractors to resolve any conflicts that may arise and communicate any such conflicts immediately to the Project Manage
• rMaintain daily logs, progress photographs and weekly report
• sComplete and submit all paperwork as require
• dAttend job meetings and/or any other meetings as may be required for the successful and timely completion of the project(s
• )Schedule and attend all required inspection
• sCompile and schedule punch list items for completion as well as coordinate project closeout

• s​5-10 years of experience as a TRAVELING SUPERINTENDE
• NTMUST HAVE GROUND UP EXPERIEN
• CEOSHA 30 Certifi
• edMust currently create an initial schedule for the project and review weekly with sub contractors, PMs, and all Stakeholde
• rsMust possess strong technical, communication and computer skills, including competency with Procore, MS Project, MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Dropbox and document management syste
• msKnowledge of safety procedures, regulations and cod
• esLocal and National travel is required for this positi
• onIdeal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: ground-up construction, additions, interior remodels, design build, carpentry
