- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credentials.
Additional Details
- Conducts mental health screenings and assessments based on records review and clinical interviews with inmates.
- Provides treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and functioning level.
- Documents treatment and evaluation activities in health care records.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques for individuals in caseload.
- Provides appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address inmate needs.
