ProKatchers is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a travel job in Adams, Massachusetts.
Job Title: Pharmacist
Standard shift: Varied
Weekly schedule: 5x8
Schedule Notes: Monday-Friday - Every other weekend/Holidays required if needed - No Call
Description:
Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
Responsible for the timely and accurate verification of all medication orders and safely prepares medications and other pharmaceuticals for dispensing to patients
Researches, educates and communicates drug information to physicians, house staff, nurses, other healthcare providers and patients/families.
Is knowledgeable of automated medication dispensing process/reports and adheres to all applicable departmental and hospital policies/procedures.
Qualifications:
Education:
Doctoral Degree in Pharmacy Required - Not negotiable
Licensing/Certification:
Active Massachusetts Pharmacist License
Immunization certification (preferred)
BLS certification
Experience:
3+ years extensive acute care clinical experience
Experience with computer operations, unit dose drug dispensing systems, IV admixture and parenteral chemotherapy admixture experience preferred.
