• Location: Winchester, Kentucky (40391)\n
• Healthcare Setting: Community Hospital – 6 ORs, 2 Endoscopy Suites\n
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/17/2025 – End: 2/16/2026)\n
• Shift: 8 Hour Days (07:00 – 15:30)\n
• Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed)\n
• On-Call: 4 main call and 4 backup call shifts per month (includes holidays and weekends)\n
• Patient Population: Geriatric, Adult, Adolescent, Pediatric\n
• Electronic Health Record: MedHost\n
• Scrubs: Facility supplied\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required\n
• Active Kentucky RN license\n
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required\n
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher\n
• Competency in circulator role and basic nursing assessment skills\n

\n\nOperating Room Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Serve as circulator for surgical procedures: General, Orthopedic, Urology, ENT, Cataracts, GYN, C-section, and Endoscopy\n
• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care across all age groups\n
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical healthcare team\n
• Maintain accurate documentation in MedHost EHR system\n
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays\n
• Comply with hospital policies and dress code (facility-supplied scrubs)\n
