• Location: Charleston, SC (Zip: 29407)\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n
• Healthcare Setting: Ambulatory Operating Room\n
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts per week (06:30am – 5:00pm); occasional late stay\n
• Start Date: November 24, 2025\n
• End Date: February 23, 2026\n
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks\n
• On-Call: Not required\n
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1700 - $1820 per week\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience\n
• Active South Carolina RN License or Compact RN License (must be in hand or proof of application required)\n
• BLS certification (required for all healthcare professionals)\n
• Clinical experience in Ophthalmology, Orthopedics (total joints, arthroscopy, hand, shoulder, elbow), ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Robotics, and Total Joints\n
• Epic charting experience preferred\n
• Ability to float within perioperative facility as needed\n
• Radiation badge (provided by parent company)\n
• First-time travel nurses not accepted\n

\n\nOperating Room Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Prepare surgical patients: review history, reconcile medications, obtain vital signs, start IVs, and administer premedications\n
• Monitor and recover post-anesthesia patients, including vital sign assessment and discharge instructions\n
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow OR nurses to ensure safe, effective clinical support\n
• Care for patients undergoing orthopedic, interventional radiology, and GI procedures\n
• Utilize advanced operating room equipment: Skytron slider beds, Neptune suction, Stryker power tools, Arthrex arthroscopy systems, and more\n
• Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols\n
• Provide compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment\n
