\n\nTravel Nursing Job Details\n

• Location: Plattsburgh, NY 12901 (New York healthcare jobs)\n
• Facility Setting: Resource Pool – Med/Surg Telemetry, float to ED HOLD and other Telemetry units\n
• Assignment Length: 16 weeks (option to extend)\n
• Start Date: December 29, 2025\n
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100 - $2250\n
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend\n
• Holiday Requirement: Work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, New Year's Day/Eve)\n
• Orientation: 1 day\n
• EMR System: EPIC\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active New York RN license (or proof of application)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse\n
• At least 1 year of experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing\n
• American Heart Association BLS certification (required)\n
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (required prior to start)\n
• CMSRN certification (preferred)\n
• EPIC charting experience within the past 2 years (required)\n
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle (public transportation not available)\n
• Ability to float to multiple hospital units as scheduled\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality patient care to adults (ages 25-99) in Med/Surg Oncology, Ortho, Urology, and ED HOLD units\n
• Float between R5, R6, R7, and other Telemetry units as needed\n
• Perform clinical procedures including IV starts, bladder scans, blood draws from central lines, and glucose monitoring\n
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC EMR\n
• Collaborate with CNAs, PCTs, unit clerks, and respiratory therapists\n
• Maintain professional appearance (navy blue & white scrubs, solid colors)\n
• Follow all hospital protocols, safety standards, and participate in required orientation/training\n
